The Transcredible Exploits of Seth Barden
I went on an adventure with my Dad today. It wan’t much, or very exciting, but it got me out of the house. We drove down to Winslow and he sold 2 guns, made some money.
On the way home, we stopped in Newport, as he had to look for a new gun. I mean, he’d just parted with two! They didn’t have the one he was looking for in stock, so he’s going to think it over some 🙂
It was good to spend some time with Dad, and nice to get out of the house and have some fresh air.
There aren’t words.
Yesterday, I got brave and decided to make a new Facebook account. I had been waiting for a month for a reply about my account being disabled, and got nothing. Not a word.
So I made the new account. Added it to my pages, and sent a bunch of friend requests. I got up this morning to find it had already been disabled, with no rhyme nor reason, yet again.
I’m so sick of this 🙁 I did nothing wrong… And I need Facebook to run pages and communicate with people. I just don’t get this!
I’ve submitted yet another new ticket using a form hadn’t seen before. We’ll see how that goes. If that doesn’t get me anywhere, I found a website that lists contact info for several higher-ups in the company. It suggested emailing them one by one to see if you can get a response. I may look into that…
I’m also contemplating trying again, using a different name. Sigh.

I haven’t posted any Buddy pics in quite some time, so here are the ones I have on my phone 🙂
So here it is, almost 3:30 in the morning. I’ve had a tooth with a cavity issue for some time now, and lo and behold, it has started to hurt. Sleep is not coming to me. I’m going to have to call the dentist in the morning 🙁
I’m not looking forward to that. I’m still unemployed, have no insurance, and dental work is NEVER cheap. I just can’t seem to win lately.
I looked for jobs to apply to this morning, and it was pretty depressing. I only found ONE hadn’t already applied to 🙁 The tech job market around here seems to suck lately.
I guess I’m going to sit here and watch more YouTube until I pass out from pure exhaustion. The tooth isn’t like killing me, but it has just enough dull pain to be irritating enough to keep me awake 🙁
Sigh.
The State of Seth -OR- Betrayal & Facebook
The last week has been pretty crazy.
On the 1st of February, I was laid off from Beal College, as they eliminated my position. I’m still coming to terms with the shock over this… I loved my job! I did it very well, everyone was always praising me. My coworkers loved me. We got a new boss, and I guess he didn’t like me. My position was eliminated and I’m out the door.
I’ve never felt so betrayed by any of my employers before 🙁 I gave everything to that job, did my best, and it still wasn’t enough. It just makes me feel pretty damn worthless at this point.
Then, to add insult to injury, Saturday morning my Facebook account got disabled again. Once again, not a single clue as to why – and no response from Facebook. I’m wondering if it had something to do with being laid off this time. After I was laid off, I was removed as an admin from several Facebook Pages & Groups.
Unfortunately, Beal had a “business” account for managing their ads and crap that was separate. I have a feeling I wasn’t removed from that, and it threw up some suspicious flag on my account where I was no longer an admin on the pages. Who honestly knows.
So now I’m back to screwing with unemployment again. It’s already messed up, as my denied claim from after Sierra hadn’t run out. It isn’t seeming to let me add a new claim, says there’s an issue, but won’t tell me what the issue is. I’m going to have to call them up, and I’m not looking forward to it AT ALL.
So that’s where I am right now. It isn’t the greatest of places.
And my Facebook account was just disabled, AGAIN.
Saturdays & Cuckoo Clocks
Today was very relaxed. Buddy and I slept till almost 11am! I guess I needed it.
I spent the afternoon super cleaning my bathroom, as it had been awhile since it got a full cleaning. It’s nearly spotless now.
I then wrapped Christmas presents for tomorrow, as I’m having Christmas with my brother and his family.
I then finally got motivated to hang my cuckoo clock! I ran into a bit of a problem though, as the bellows aren’t working in either of the clocks I have 😔
I tinkered with them a little, but I got pretty nervous as they’re antiques. They belonged to my great grandmother, and they were literally made in Germany.
I’m gonna see if Dad can help me fix it, as I know he has some experience tinkering with them. Mom & Dad have an American cuckoo they got as a wedding gift. My grandmother even had one!
Cuckoo Clocks seem to be a tradition in the Barden family.

Relaxing Weekend
I had a pretty relaxing weekend. Went Christmas shopping with Dad on Friday and got almost everything I need.
Spent Saturday hanging out with Perry. I also started watching a sci fi blast from the past: Sliders! I forgot how much liked this show back in the 90’s.
Sunday was spent relaxing with Buddy and playing some Minecraft. I got Buddy a cat tree for Christmas, and since I won’t be here in Christmas day he got it early 🙂
At first he was more interested in the box it came in, but he’s started digging on the post instead of the chair he normally does. I liked him up onto it with some treats and toy finally 🙂 I think he was scared to jump down from the top!
