Got all the lights in place and hooked up. Village looks pretty cute
Now I just need to setup some people, cobblestone streets, and some snow.
Pictures should be coming along in a day or so
Christmas Update
by Sethen on Nov.28, 2010, under Ramblings
Woke up yesterday to discover Mom had bought me a little set of christmas lights and tree at RiteAid for my lego village
My Lego Castle now has a little white light in every window, and it looks really kewl! Dad helped me repair some of my ancient street lights (they were all coroded to hell, haven’t been used in over 5 years).
Now I just need to figure out how I’m going to set these two buildings up. I scrapped using the Train Station, as half the lights in it apparently burned out, and you have no idea how ridiculous it was to get them hooked up in it to begin with. I’ll probably never find a similar set of little lights lol. Oh well, just a Church and a Castle. Dad even went online looking to find me a Lego Santa mini-figure to go with my castle
no luck so far…
Lego Christmas Village
by Sethen on Nov.26, 2010, under Ramblings
Years ago, I had setup a little Christmas Village built out of some Lego buildings, my Lego Church, and a Lego train. I’ve actually got some shelf space in here this year, so I’ve decided its time to bring it out again.
Gonna do things a little different though. I’m putting up my church, and the train station, but I’m also going to decorated my Lego Castle! I think it’ll make a great Santa’s Castle. I’ll post more, along with pictures, once I get off my butt and start working on it more than setting junk on the shelf, and boxes on the floor.
