I found this on my phone today.  I made it a few weeks ago of a MacBook we had come in for repair at work.  At first, I thought it was a joke.  I looked it up, and its an official thing.  It means the logic board is dead.

We had a snow day yesterday, and I got a new countertop installed on my workbench!  Doesn’t it look great??

I had a very productive day at work today.  I upgraded my workstation from a Pentium 4 HT to an Intel Core2Duo.  Let me tell you, the change is AMAZING!  My VirtualBox of Windows is actually responsive now.  You don’t click and wait, you click and something happens!! Everything is just snappier. I even did a clean install of Ubuntu 11.10 instead of the upgrade I had before, so the system is even running better. Not to mention its 64bit now

Its been awhile since I wrote anything. I’m sitting on a bench across the street enjoying the night air.

I’ve started scanning 1971 and there’s alot of issues missing. I’ve scanned 10 issues and I’m already in September!

The Milo webcam is down and I have no idea why. Looks like I need to plan a trip to Milo this weekend to investigate Wasn’t planning on it…  I also need to work on some RSS research I want to do some feeds differently on TRC.

Things are going good at work. Hasn’t been too horribly busy lately. I setup a new Facebook ad for PC MEDIX today

Blah… I’m sleepy. I should go back upstairs.

Inventory day sucks. Since this morning, I’ve counted several hundred pieces of memory, a couple hundred hard dives, and over 100 optical drives.  All on top of regular stuff that came in to be worked on. And its bloody hot

Still need to count laptop power bricks… ugh. This whole new inventory system and setup is giving me a headache lol.

Today just gets stranger as it goes. Still working on the two machines from this morning! Had to start from scratch with a new image….  Then I had to upgrade RAM in a netbook. Lemme tell u…. the RAM is hidden in an evil place. Had to remove the motherboard to get at it! Then of course it didn’t like the only 2gb stick we had.

Oh, and to top off the crazy, I had a mac with a virus.

Today is apparently not a good day for me. Its only 11am, and so far I’ve had a theoreticaly bad sata controller, 5 bad hard drives, 1 one bad dvd drive, and 2 computers that just simply hate me. I wanna go back to bed.

Did some rearranging and cleanup at work this week. I organized all the Hard Drives and Optical Drives into more manageable madness.  Its a great improvement over how it was all stored before. Here are some pics. I like to show off my organized corner
