So I heard this ad on the radio today for “Sensa for Men“, some new weight loss thing.  I did a little research into it, and it doesn’t sound too bad.  You sprinkle this stuff on your food, and it helps you feel fuller, quicker, so you eat less, hence loosing weight.  Its 2 months for free, just gotta pay like $5 shipping and handling.  I’m kinda tempted to try it out.  I mean, what have I got to loose?  Except weight haha.

I feel so empty tonight… I can’t even explain it right. Just like theres no emotions left in me.  Maybe its just this ugly head cold talking, but I think its more than that.  And I’m sure nobody wants to hear anymore anyways.

Hah!  I just realized I never updated on here about my car being fixed.  It was a blown fuse-link, and some burned out wires.  Wasn’t too expensive either, but it did set me back into the poor house

And by better place, I mean Searsport Automotive.  They’re going to look at my car in the morning, and hopefully they can figure out what the heck is wrong with it

Turned out there was an override button that let me shift the car into gear, which let me get it down to the garage. Hooray.  That was a crazy drive.  No gauges, no lights, no signals, windows wouldn’t even open.  But she’s going to get fixed…

Got a new battery and the car starts fine now.  Except that it wont shift out of park, and none of the electronics are working. Looks like i need to have her looked at

I have no idea whats going on now.  Got a neighbor to help me jump it, and as soon as we hooked up the jumper cables, all four of my turn signals came on steady.  Let it charge for a bit, and it turns over like a champ.  Just won’t catch.  I have no idea whats going on

Obviously the battery is dead… Beyond that, the four steady turn signals have me really nervous.  The phrase “electrical system problem” comes to mind, and that sounds expensive.

Sigh.  Trying to make myself feel better with a meat lovers pizza from across the street….

Went out to my car to go and do laundry at my friend’s place, to discover the power locks weren’t working.  Actually, no electrical things were working.  Popped the hood, discovered this:

After cleaning it all off, it would appear my battery is completely dead.  I have no idea how this happened, it was working just FINE last night.  I swear…. I hate cars.

I guess I’m gonna be looking for a ride to work tomorrow, and somehow I’m going to have to procure a new flippin battery.

I just read this article on the Bangor Daily News: Milo-area schools get 174 MacBook computers

One thing about this bothers me  They got MacBook Air laptops.  Now don’t get me wrong, I love macs, I’m a mac-user myself.  But I’ve had to deal with MacBook Airs at work, and I think schools are the WORST place for them.  They’re very easily broken, and just a simple screen replacement can cost over $700.  Those things are gonna get broken quick, and cost a small fortune to keep running.
