I spent several hours tonight weeding through sub-directories and removing tagged infected files.  It was mind-numbing…  I uploaded fresh copies of everything.  And I mean EVERYTHING.  But as far as I can tell, things are under control now.  I changed our ftp passwords as well, so that should help.  I just now realized that MAY have screwed up our webcam uploads… CRAP I need to look at that.

Ok, fixed the Schoodic Cam, and apparently the Brownville Cam didn’t need fixing.  I’m a little perplexed by that.  Disturbed you might say.  But I can’t really look into it, as my remote access is still broken.  (Jef, if you’re reading this, email me!!)

One other thing I discovered, is that our Counter was broken.  That was the Warning line people may have been seeing at the bottom of the window.  I’ve disabled it for now.  I don’t think I can fix it  It was connected to an analytics program I was using, but it broke (possibly due to the hack).  I had to do a fresh install of the thing, which lost our past data.  So being that I can’t remember what number we were at…. We’re just gonna go without the counter.

Sorry to let everyone know, but it appears that TRC got hacked.  Somehow malicious code was inserted to just about every page on our website, and we’ve been getting reports of it spewing out viruses and malware from lots of people.

As far as we know, the problem has been contained.  (and I have about 400 .INFECTED files to remove from the website).

I’m still doing some final cleanup, so please let us know if you see anything odd or malicious.  If you are a regular visitor to our site, I recommend you run some virus and malware scans on your computer!

I just realized its been over a week since I posted anything.  Its been a long week.  I don’t really have anything constructive to say.  So I guess this is all….

I got my new phone today.  The Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX.  Its awesome!!!  I upgraded from the original Motorola Droid, and it was getting up there in age.  Practically an antique by cell phone standards.

The screen is so bright, the thing it just so snappy and responsive I don’t know what to do!!  Its amazing I tell you.

Its soooooo thin!!!  I can’t even fathom how they got all this technology and the ridiculous battery into this little thing.  I can’t wait to try out Netflix on it, just need my brother to remember what his password is (as I forgot haha).  Also, the media center program I use for my TV also makes an Android app.  Its $5 though, so I don’t know if I want to check it out.  I probably will hardly ever use it.  But it would let me stream all my videos/movies/series from my media center app onto my phone, anywhere.

On that note, I’m going to finish watching The Late Late Show and climb into bed.

I had a very relaxing weekend of Civilization IV.  Now I’m off to bed, work in the morning.

I’ve hit my depressed funk again.  I reviewed my finances for the next few weeks today, and all it did was make me realize just how poor I am, and that its going to keep on continuing.  I’m 31 for crying out loud, shouldn’t something in life be looking up at this point?  It seems like I have fewer friends all the time, I’m always struggling to pay my bills on time, never have any spare money, I’ve been single for something like 2 years now, the list goes on.

I got no plan.  I got no vision of the future.  I don’t know where I’m heading anymore.
