Such a nice lazy day. Been relaxing, working a bit on a website, just pretty much enjoying the nice weather.

Now I don’t wanna get off on a rant here….

But what is wrong with some people?  Mom was watching “Toddlers in Tiaras” last night, and  I seriously think some of these moms have issues.  A 2 1/2 month old baby, in a beauty pageant??  Seriously?  And the one mom….  said she spends $10,000 a year on pageants for her 5 year old.  It must be nice to have money and just be able to throw it away and not worry.  If I had $10,000 I could think of 100 different ways to spend it that would be much more worth it. I just don’t understand some people I guess.  I did have to feel bad for the one little boy. Yes, you heard me, BOY in a beauty pageant.  He’s 6, and he loves pageants.  Seems his mother got him into it when he was VERY little, now she’s raising him to be pretty messed up. Poor kid….

But thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Gorgeous outside.  Setup my “office” outside in the screenhouse.  Been working out here all afternoon on designing WayFar.me, and listening to music  Oh yeah, and babysitting Shaun.  He’s been a fish in the pool most all afternoon.

Need to get Eric’s opinion on my design ideas.  Website should be up and running in a few days.  Once I’ve finalized the color scheme and layout, the content is pretty much all set.  We’re looking at a black/organge/gray color scheme of some sort.  So if anyone has ANY ideas, let me know!!

Fed up with my stupid Wireless-N Card for my mac.  The stupid thing doesn’t work half the time, cuts out for no reason, and if any Wireless-G devices connect to our network, it kicks me off.  Finally fed up with the damn thing.  Oh, and for some reason, its settings keep converting back go B-G instead of B-G-N.  I’m done with the damn thing.  From now on, I’m just gonna plug in the stupid ethernet cable when i’m at my desk, and suffer with wireless-G wherever else i am.

That is all.

Its finished! Took some pictures out at the lake today to put the finishing touches on the site. If all goes well, we should get the lake depth monitoring system up and online soon too!

Stressed out. Its too hot, my room is too small. Added plywood to my desk to try to make some more space… don’t feel quite so crowded now.

Eric and I are celebrating new years 2004. Why you ask? We just formatted his computer and the default date was dec 31 2003 haha. We entered 2004 in the setup process

Seems my brand new Schoodic Webcam had some sort of issue last night around 2am  It just stopped uploading, and I can no longer access it remotely.  I’ve got a feeling I didn’t get DynDNS setup correctly, and the IP changed….  But that wouldn’t explain why it stopped uploading….  I need to take an adventure out to the lake and see whats going on…
